DIN MIDI to USB Host

I recently got a Casio CTK-6200 that has USB MIDI. I having been trying to route DIN MIDI from my Korg piano with the end result to trigger notes and the accompaniment tracks on the Casio. The Casio is plugged into the USB Host Port. Using my iPad to configure the MIDI patch bay I could not make it work. Connected my MBA to iConnect Audio 4 + and fired up MIDI monitor and was able to see activity from both keyboards both plugged into the IConnect and plugging the Casio directly into the MBA but not matter what I did, I could not route the MIDI from the Korg to the Casio. Side note, I was trying to connect to the IConnectAudio4+ with MIDI splitter but the output was not recognized by the iConnect.

Suggestions?
